The receiving business agrees the scope and fee with you, then pays upfront through the app.
Receive your payment
The planned payment flow releases funds 14 days after a successful payment is confirmed by the payment provider. A dispute pauses release.
Handover payments are an upcoming app feature. Earnings depend on an agreed, paid handover; they aren’t guaranteed. Free plans have a 10% TradeScot handover commission. Paid plans have 0% TradeScot commission. These rates apply to the handover fee, not the customer’s job bill. Payment-provider charges are separate; the full costs will be shown before you agree.

Can I make money by passing a job on?
That’s part of the planned app. Agree a handover fee with the receiving business before they accept the job. They pay the fee and you earn it, subject to the payment and dispute process. Free plans have a 10% TradeScot commission; paid plans have 0% TradeScot commission. Earnings are not guaranteed.
Who can join?
We’re starting with trade businesses across Scotland, including sole traders and teams. You can register your business now and hear when the apps are live.
Are the apps live yet?
Not yet. Register here and we’ll email you once both apps are publicly available. Tick the testing box if you’d like to help test before launch.
Is registering really free?
Yes. There’s no payment and no subscription to join this list. The app will offer free community features and optional paid tools.
Will my business appear straight away?
No. Registering doesn’t publish your details. We need your separate agreement to the public profile and completed checks first.
Can I leave the mailing list?
Yes. Email skythorndigital@gmail.com to leave the launch list or change your email choices. Signing up again won’t reverse an opt-out.
