Handover policy proposal
For review only. Paid checkout remains disabled.
The receiving business pays an agreed introduction fee to the business passing on work. This buys the agreed introduction, customer consent/contact access and the scope/pricing information expressly listed. It does not buy a guaranteed job, profit or completed workmanship.
Proposed full refund: fabricated/duplicate opportunity, no customer consent, materially false scope or contact details, or failure to deliver the promised introduction after a reasonable attempt to resolve it. Proposed partial refund: a demonstrably incomplete introduction where both parties agree a reduced value or support gives a reasoned decision.
Customer cancellation before a usable introduction is delivered: proposed full refund. Cancellation after a valid introduction or loss of work for reasons outside the introduction is not automatically refundable. Support will consider the evidence and applicable rights. After release, a justified refund may require recovery from the advertiser; it is not guaranteed by TradeScot.
The agreed proposed release rule is 14 days after provider-confirmed successful payment unless disputed. This applies even when the physical job is scheduled later. The payment is captured; a later transfer to the advertiser’s provider account and a still later bank payout are different events. This is not escrow. Opening a dispute pauses scheduled release for review; it does not itself establish entitlement to a refund. Provider chargebacks are handled separately.
Free advertisers pay 10% TradeScot commission; paid advertisers pay 0%, based on their verified plan at payment. The advertiser is proposed to bear disclosed provider/card/connected-account/payout costs. The exact allocation and refund handling must be agreed and implemented before activation.
